Syphilis is cured with one or more injections of penicillin or other antibiotics. After you get treated, be sure to follow up with your doctor to be sure that you are cured. You should wait one week after you are treated before having sex.
And remember, it’s very important that your partners are also treated, because you can get syphilis again.
